Unless you are lying around in bed or sitting on the couch somewhere, you are busy. You are working, going to school, running errands, hanging out with friends, watching television, etc. but does that make you productive?
Productive is accomplishing goals that you set out for yourself on top of your daily routine. Do you even have any? Do you have a daily agenda? Having a daily agenda helps schedule time among your “busy” to work towards something that is important to you. It could be exercise, pursuing a HIGHER education, learning a new skill, etc. These are things that are not mandatory like a job but important because it is something you WANT to do vs HAVE to do.
What are you doing productive? Surviving is being productive, don’t get me wrong but life is more than surviving. It’s about living. What are you doing to live so at the end of the day you can say you lived a meaningful life? Some people run around 24/7 being busy but never set time to accomplish things that they want to do. “Rat race”. This is the process of repeatedly doing the same thing without actually feeling fulfilled.
